There is a hole in my heart where the school tent should have been. There is so much beautiful child art waiting to be shown. Parents, grandparents, if you are your child’s earliest and possibly only suporters, make the most of that refrigerator gallery. These beautiful creations deserve that their inspirations be appreciated.

However, alongside that, it was a stimulating environment for a loose sketch in watercolor to restore my connections to the ultimate creator.

I did see some marvelous work by students around Citrus County and many professional artists.

My favorite professional painter today is Barbara Batchelder of Summerfield who painted a boat on the water that rises gently on nearly imperceptable swells “Waiting” for me to raise the funds to buy it. 1509824989929-1281433959
