3rd grade student STEAM lesson.

This third grader’s cardboard slot sculpture of a cardinal is from my STEAM lesson identifying bird silhouettes, wing shapes, and tail shapes, plus engineering and using math scale/measurement/proportion. There was also a language and visual storytelling element for why this bird is important to her family.
