After reading an article about master gardener Arlene Hamilton in DallasNews.com, I could not wait to see her gardens. I have to tell you, this was exactly the slice of heaven I mentioned on my About Lucy J page. I could hardly pick one thing to paint, when everything was beautiful. The Texas Stars jumped out at me from a shady corner by the fence, catching and magnifying the stray light. Stunning. It was an overcast day, yet everything looked bright and colorful.
